Criminal Girls 2, Kinky RPG Set To Arrive For PS Vita This November
(Last Updated On: May 27, 2016)

The original Criminal Girls from Nippon Ichi Software turned heads and caused quite a few heated arguments on beta boards like NeoGaf. The game was a tantalizing exercise in classic RPG adventuring fused with multi-layered dungeon exploration and mini-games that made 50 Shades of Grey look like 1950s’ PSA ad for hygiene education. The controversial Criminal Girls: Invite Only will be receiving a sequel for the PS Vita this fall.

Gematsu rolled out some of the details for the game ahead of a big info-dump set to arrive on July 25th in the Dengeki PlayStation Vol. 595 publication.

The game was originally spotted via an Amazon Japan leak where the price and release date for the game was made known. Criminal Girls 2 is set to arrive on November 26th, 2015 over in Japan, exclusively for the PlayStation Vita.

As mentioned, details on the game are still very much under wraps save for Gematsu’s reiteration from the Dengeki news that the game will be more strategic and extreme, writing…

“The sequel sees the return of the original game’s popular battle and “Punishment” systems, both now more strategic and extreme, respectively.”

For those of you not in the know, the original game sparked quite a bit of controversy with its “punishment” mechanic. Basically, in order to “encourage” the all-female team to fight better or fall in line with the rest of the team, the player had an option to spank, whip and “punish” the girls for misbehaving. It was all done with erotic flair and tantalizing BSDM images.

Some YouTubers like Chaosloki has all of the adult-themed “motivational” scenes that sexed up Criminal Girls to all new levels of titillation. And what kind of outlet would this be if proper research wasn’t put into those motivational scenes and shared with the public? Hence, the NSFW video compilation of the Criminal Girls getting properly… ahem… motivated.

While certain websites and forums went on a moral rampage against the game, NIS seems to be sticking to their guns and upholding the rock-solid pillar of free speech within the realm of interactive entertainment.

Expect a deluge of moral pandering from the usual suspects when Criminal Girls 2 eventually gets localized for a Western release, but until then you can keep your eyes peeled for the new trailer and media assets when they eventually become available.
