Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus Arrives On Steam June 1st
Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus

Featuring more than 130 missions across four distinct story arcs involving four different ninja schools including the Hanzo National Academy, the Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy, the Gessen girls’ Academy and the splinter group known as the Homura’s Crimson Squad.

The story takes place after the events of Senran Kagura Burst, and this particular entry was a PS Vita exclusive that’s getting an opportunity to experience an all new audience on PC at 60 blazing frames per second in full 1080p resolution.

To give gamers a taste of the goodies that they have in store come June 1st, a trailer was released that you can check out below, featuring Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus running on PC.

There will be 20 playable characters, and the combat will be as diverse and as deeply enriched as gamers have come to expect from the fan-service heavy series, which has a surprisingly well made combat system. In fact, I would say it’s on par if not better than Omega Force’s Dynasty Warriors series.

The game will continue to feature mid-air combos, special moves via the Secret Ninja Techniques, and – as hinted at during the end of the trailer above – the clothes ripping action that helped make the game popular will also be present. I wonder how much censorship will be applied and what sort of patches the modding community will come up with to make it where the game will feature all the naughty bits? I’m sure the nude mods will be off the chain for Senran Kagura and there’s nothing Marvelous Entertainment, XSeed Games or Tamsoft can do about it… but I get the feeling they won’t care all that much anyway.

The PC port will feature English subtitles and will feature the original Japanese voice-overs (oh yes, rejoice my subs-over-dubs friends… you’ve won this round!).

In addition to being a content-rich game with full HD support and silky smooth frame-rates, Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus will also contain all of the previously released DLC that appeared on the PlayStation Vita, for free.

Gamers will be able to get their hands on the game and all of the available DLC included in the package starting June 1st for only $29.99. You can learn more about the PC port by hitting up the official XSeed Games website.
