Sid Meier’s Civilization VI received a new announcement video, which arrives with a couple of screenshots that show off the strategy saga’s in-game graphics. The PC game by Firaxis is slated for October 21st, 2016.
2K Games recently announced the new game in the Civilization strategy saga, which is the sixth game developed by Firaxis. The game will provide the common strategy elements that fans grew to love, and a few new things too. The new announcement trailer shows the evolution of technology and humans racing through time, which can be seen below.
The turn-based strategy game features a lot of classic historical elements that allow players to become rulers of the world by constructing brilliant plans, and economic structures to stand the test of time and opposing nations.
The latest iteration offers new city expansions across the map, active research technology and more unlocks. Other features include competing leaders that pursue their agendas based on both historical events and your actions.
The game will also feature a dynamic diplomacy and interaction with other civilizations. This means that over the course of playing the game interaction will be influenced based on the time zone you are in. This also links into the different layers of the game that provides a decent amount of play-styles for fans to participate in. This will help newcomers learn the curves quicker, as well as providing veterans a nice meaty challenge that’s not overdone.
Speaking of overdone, the AI leaders that you encounter will not glitch out like before, which would cause a political leader like Gandhi to become one of the most notorious humans in history.
In addition, this also joins the traditional multiplayer modes that feature co-op or competitive play with friends in different sessions and modes. With that said, you can view the two screenshots of the in-game map.
As noted above, Sid Meier’s popular strategy saga, Civilization VI, will be available for PC, and is slated for release on October 21st, 2016.
