Witcher 3: Blood And Wine: How To Quickly Beat The First Boss And Get David And Goylat Trophy

CD Projekt Red has released the latest DLC for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, commonly known as Blood and Wine. In this guide, players will learn how to beat the first boss of Toussaint quickly, the Goylat, and learn how to get its trophy David and Goylat. Blood and Wine is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

If you are stuck or facing trouble battling the Golyat boss, there are two videos to help you out. The first video shows how to beat it quickly without having to spend a lot of time with it, while the second shows how to get the award trophy “David and Golyat.” Something worth noting: the boss isn’t all that hard if you learn its pattern and know when to attack and dodge.

In addition to this, some players even opted to setting the difficulty lower just to get its life down faster, but if you like to play the game on a setting that is much more challenging, just learn its pattern and you’ll be good to go.

After each heavy attack it does, you will be able to roll around to its back and attack it. Its pattern may throw some random or uncanny moves at you when you least expect it, but rolling/hopping away from it to get back behind it is always a good plan.

Boss Fight Database has a video showing how to beat the big bad beast, which consists of him side-hopping and rolling away from its attacks constantly, while mixing in some quick and heavy attacks.

If you want to get the trophy or award “David and Golyat,” you will need to get its life really low before killing it with a bolt to the eye/face. This will reward player with a Bronze trophy. Use a lot of weak attacks before getting its life near death, and then switch to damaging it with crossbow bolts. This video guide comes in by PowerPyx.

And that’s basically it to this guide. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its latest DLC Blood and Wine are out now. The last chapter in Geralt’s story is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
