Publisher Rising Star Games and developer Dracue Software released their shoot’em up game Assault Suit Leynos for PS4 back in July for North America, which will release in Europe on September 9th. However, Assault Suit Leynos will also hit PC via Steam this year on August 30th.
This information for the classic shoot’em style game arrives straight from the Assault Suit Leynos’ Steam page, showing its release date. The PC release comes after the North American release, and is set to arrive ahead of the European September 9th PS4 launch.
When ASL does launch for PC, it will bring all the same screen-cluttered action but in HD. Speaking of the gameplay and up-scaled graphics, you can learn more about the game below:
“A classic reawakens – Assault Suit Leynos is back and in high definition! Get ready for all-out robotic war as the fan-favourite Mega Drive classic is reworked with all new HD visuals for the ultimate alien-blasting experience!”
The fan-favorite Mega Drive classic still sees players participating in the fourth world war, or in other words fighting an unknown species to protect humanity against the mysterious space creatures.
While wielding the Assault Suit Leynos to blast aliens away, there will be eight HD stages to discover with side-scrolling action. This is coupled with bosses and enemies to destroy in a classic 2D style shoot-em up premise.
If the game seems to difficult, weapons and power-ups reside in sub-missions that can be unlocked and used in the next battle. Of course, you will need to complete these sub-missions to use these “devastating weapons”.
Lastly, you will be able to unlock a number of game modifiers to change up the Arcade Mode’s gameplay, which is also accompanied by the Classic Mode.
