King Of Fighters XIV Team Another World Trailer Brings In The Pachinko Fighters

SNK Playmore revealed yet another team trailer for the upcoming King of Fighters XIV, whose release date is drawing upon the gaming world rather quickly. The new trailer features Team Another World, and the trio of intriguing pugilists who have joined this year’s tournament.

The trailer starts with Samurai Shodown’s Nakoruru, who can command her animal friend to help her out during battle. Her attacks are light and kind of simple. He dynamic and unpredictable edge she had in Samurai Shodown isn’t really present here, as indicated in the trailer below.

Muimui is a different story. She has a rather generic look but she’s pretty awesome in the way that she utilizes a lot of traditional kung-fu techniques, she even has a similar move to Karin from Street Fighter V.

The pachinko princess seems to make the leap over into King of Fighters XIV with ease, and I can easily see Muimui being one of those rare picks that can give people a tough time during tournaments.

Last but not least is the pirate fighter, Love Heart. She’s a feminine but feisty brawler that reminds me of a more hard-hitting version of B. Jenet from Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

She has a lot of straightforward hits, kicks and punches. She also has a sword attack, a few flip moves and a lot of charging combos. Her special attacks see her flying across the screen, cutting, slashing and mowing down her opponents with her glowing sword.

The comment section on the YouTube page joked that Team Another World are refugee fighters from SNK’s failed pachinko division.

Regardless of where they come from, all that matters is how well they control on the battlefield. Love Heart certainly isn’t my style of fighter, but I’m definitely interested in seeing more of Muimui. You can get your hands on each of the fighters come August 23rd for the PlayStation 4 when King of Fighters XIV finally launches.
