EVERSPACE Set To Hit Steam Early Access On September 14th

If you like beautiful looking space sims that are colorful and make for good screenshots, I think EVERSPACE is a game you’ll enjoy. Developer Rockfish Games recently put EVERSPACE on Steam’s “Coming Soon” section, which means that fans of the space sim will be able to play it on PC starting September 14th.

Going through many phases like pre-Alpha, Alpha and now Beta, the devs now seek to put EVERSPACE on Steam Early Access. As time brings us closer to the game’s Early Access launch date, the devs made some changes to the base game.

Before jumping into the new content that was recently added in the game, which is shown in a near 30 minute long video, you can read EVERSPACE‘s official description below:

“EVERSPACE™ combines fast-paced combat with roguelike elements, great visuals and a captivating story. It takes you on a challenging journey through an ever-changing, beautifully crafted universe full of surprises. Shoot, craft and loot your way to victory while the odds are stacked against you.”

Looking over to the mechanics, the game sports spacecrafts that can maneuver quite fast and halt all movement abruptly. This offers fast-pace dog-fights and a way to shake enemies off with quick stopping capabilities. I’m not sure how different the new version’s controls are from the older version, but from the video it seems as if it’s not going down hill though.

If you are curious as to how the game plays out, a new gameplay video offers up 29 minutes of footage showing EVERSPACE in action. The video comes in by YouTuber ObsidianAnt, as seen below.

As of now, EVERSPACE is still in an early build and will soon become playable next week. Starting on September 14th, the space sim will be available for PC via Steam Early Access. For more details on Rockfish Games and EVERSPACE, you can hit up the team’s official site.
