Are you looking for the year 3 variant of Gjallarhorn? Do you want to get the Exotic Khvostov 7G-0X Auto Rifle? In this guide guardians looking how to get both legendary weapons will be able to do so in Destiny: Rise of Iron. Destiny is out now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, while Rise of Iron is out for PS4 and Xbox One.
First up is the big bad iron giant itself, Gjallarhorn. The exotic weapons is back and is shining in ROI. The weapon can be obtained by taking up the quest Beauty in Destruction. To get said quest you must complete the main story missions in ROI to get a patrol quest in the Plaguelands. After doing patrols in the Plaguelands and scanning six anomaly sites, you will be asked to return to the Iron Temple.
The next rare weapon in Destiny is the Khvostov 7G-0X Auto Rifle. To be honest, I used this weapon for a long time and never got rid of it when playing the year one edition. I really liked this gun, because it reminds me of the M4 carbine. If you are like me and still have it, then you won’t be able to get your hands on the newer version. You’ll need to scrap it so you will be rewarded the Khvostov 7G-0X Auto Rifle schematic.
If you want to learn how to get the new and upgraded version of Destiny’s staple beginner weapon, which comes with a Russian Federal Bureau of Aeronautics skin, yet again, My Name Is Byf has a nice video guide running below.
These new variants of older weapons in Rise of Iron will most likely work in harder missions, as well as standing as nice souvenirs in your inventory/storage.
Destiny is out now for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4, while its expansion Rise of Iron is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.
