If you have grown tired of Bot Vice and you are looking for something fresh to do in the arcade shooter, well you might be in luck. A new update is now available for Bot Vice that adds over 20 stages, and a new game mode that can only be accessed after beating the story mode. Bot Vice is out now for PC via Steam, and is currently available for $9.99.
Those who adore arcade pixel shooters that have players nearly scraping by each round with a little bit of health and ammo might find that same kind of excitement and fun in Bot Vice. For those who just beat the game or enjoy it and seek more content, a free update dropped today that adds 25 more stages, and a new game mode.
Starting today, a new mode called ” Extra Missions” has been added to Bot Vice. This mode can only be accessed from the title menu, but only after the story mode has been completed — which is the same as unlocking the achievement “Revenger”.
If that’s not enough, there will be an additional 25 stages to partake in that will be equally or if not harder than the original stages. The new stages in the update contain more crowded waves of bots and enemy vehicles to destroy.
As a treat to those who find the other 24 stages to be boring, or too easy, the developers added a nice boss rush mode at the end to see how good veteran players are at the game.
Both the official description for Bot Vice and video trailer can be seen below.
“Show off your skills & reflexes in this frantic gallery shooter, inspired by titles like Time Crisis and Wild Guns. You play as Erin Saver, carrying out her personal vendetta against the criminal Wildbots. Fast arcade action. Pure gameplay. No filler.”
