The sibling to the game Scorn, better known as Agony, has a new release window that was announced by PlayWay and MadMind Studio. The new release window is set for the second quarter of 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Honestly, I’m excited for Agony and with that said folks will be getting a two-in-one today. Remember the game Scorn? We covered the game back when it was on Greenlight and it hasn’t since turned up again, but seeing how Agony resembles somewhat of the same torment and horror elements as said game, I thought to refresh folks minds who have a burning desire for first-person horror games.
Scorn hasn’t received anything new yet, this is evident by hitting up the game’s official site or the website that developer Ebb Software post new content on namely TIGForum (which hasn’t received new info since January of this year). But Scorn fans shouldn’t be too sad seeing that the game is set to come out in the first quarter of 2017, so it’s likely that new info should drop sometime soon kinda like how Agony just received new info.
If you haven’t already you can check out the video for Scorn by Ebb Software, although the video is old now.
I know that was a bit excessive news regarding another game that’s not Agony, but I thought to add it in there seeing how a lot of folks are comparing Agony and Scorn together and how both games have fans looking forward to their arrival. This now brings us to Agony and its release date, which the game is set to debut across PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime in May of 2017.
The game will also receive a free edition of VR support after the initial game drops on said release date. The VR support was announced over on the game’s Kickstarter page and can be further researched by hitting up kickstarter.com.
If you’ve never witnessed Agony before and seek to get a better understanding as to what the game is about, both the official description and trailer sit below.
“Agony is a first-person, survival horror set in hell. You will begin your journey as a tormented soul within the depths of hell without any memories about your past. The special ability to control people on your path, and possess demons, gives you the measures to survive.”
Before signing out, Scorn is set to release in the first quarter of 2017 for PC, while Agony is set to debut sometime in May of 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox.
