Launching for PS4 and PC, Aqua Moto Racing Utopia is set to arrive this week on November 29th and November 30th. The game received a new launch trailer to coincide with its debut on PC and PlayStation 4.

The trailer is just under two minutes, and highlights the game’s jet ski racing action over beautiful aquatic locations, giving gamers a thorough look at the game’s visual qualities. While the character models aren’t the sort of assets to make your jaw drop like Batman: Arkham Knight or Hellblade, they’re serviceable enough for the racing action at hand.

One of the real highlights of the trailer is with the water effects. We get to see some gorgeous translucent effects on display, as water depth, camera height and the player’s positioning determines just how much you can see underwater and how its rendered on-screen. You can check it out below.

The trailer isn’t just about the liquid rendering. We also get to see some of the stages in action, as well as some of the stunts that players can pull off in the race mode and the stunt mode.

The trailer centers around a tropical sunset bay, but also gives brief clips and scenarios centered around a few of the other stages as well.

While the trailer doesn’t actually show it, there’s a full character customization feature implemented into Aqua Moto Racing Utopia so you can make your character look the way you want, as well as unlock new liveries for the jet skis as well.

In the preview build code I was given a while back I had some trouble with the resolution and controls, but in the newer build leading up to release the resolution was definitely improved but there was still some minor issues with the controls and the game not properly reading the Steam Controller.

Nevertheless, hopefully all will be ironed out for the game’s release in North America on November 29th for the PS4, and on November 30th for the PS4 in Europe along with the full release on Steam on November 30th.
