Project Genom Settles Legal Disputes And Returns To Steam
(Last Updated On: November 29, 2016)

Late last week, news began to circulate that Project Genome had been taken down from the Steam Store due to legal disputes that they had with their lead programer, but fans of the game don’t need to worry about that anymore.

I don’t know all the behind the scenes details about what deals were placed and how they settled the legal issues so quickly, but indie development company NeuronHaze had reassured their fans and supporters of Project Genome in the past, telling them that the game would be back up within ten days. They went on to say that all legal disputes were being handled and that all copyrights pertaining to Project Genom belonged to them. More importantly, they said that after the game returned to the Steam store they would start working on fixing bugs and adding in some new content for an upcoming update.

The official forums for Project Genome has posted up a new announcement saying that the game was now back on Steam, and apologizing for the issue.

Project Genom is back on steam!

Friends, we are pleased to announce that we are back on Steam. We apologize to all players that the game was unavailable from 23 to 25 November 2016. We are grateful to all who are not indifferent to our problem and for all the words of support that we have received from you these past three days. At the moment our team continues to work on a new version, and we expect the first test of the new network in the near future.

Thank you all and see you in the world of the Genome

The developers kept their promise and brought the game back to Steam rather quickly, now they just have to keep their word and pump out the next few content updates to go along with it. If you would like to support Project Genom, you can now officially go to their Steam store page again to either purchase the game or learn more about it.

Make sure to also visit the official website for further details about the game.
