Starbound Skeleton Race Mod Added; Schlong Mod Gets Updated
(Last Updated On: November 24, 2016)

One of the newest mods to join the Starbound universe is the Skelekin Race. It’s designed around characters who look like skeletons.

The mod was created by DrPvtSkittles. It features a fossil-themed race that you can play as, including custom armor tiers up to level 6, custom ships and pets, as well as custom tech upgrades and interfaces. There are 27 different colors for the Skelekin, along with their own custom lore, starter clothes, hurt sounds and spawning animations. There are still a few things the modder plans to add, including tenants and furniture themed around Skelekin culture.

If you thought about adding in a new race to Starbound, you can’t really go wrong with skeletons. You can grab the mod by paying a visit to the NexusMods download page.

The fun for Starbound doesn’t end there, though. The fringe mod for the game called the Schlongbound mod, has been updated modder undare. If the name doesn’t give it away, the description surely does. The mod is a nude mod for Starbound, featuring all sorts of male species genitalia. The mod also features topless human females, too.

The reason the mod was updated was because undare wanted to let his fans know that there were some problems with his nude mods for Starbound and Stardew Valley, and so he was letting everyone know that he would be focusing on mostly just releasing his stuff over on the Undare Tumblr blog.

He doesn’t go into the details about what the problems were exactly, other than that the adult tag at NexusMods apparently wasn’t working as intended. His mods are still available, however, and you can download them from NexusMods for the current version of Starbound.

If you’re interested in giving your space journey an extra bit of spice from some elongated sausages, the Schlongbound mod might just be up your alley. You can grab the mod from over on NexusMods right now.
