Subsiege Set To Hit Steam Early Access On March 8th

There’s a new RTS game that’s about to hit Steam Early Access next year on March 8th for PC. The name of the game is Subsiege and it comes from publisher Headup Games and developers Icebird Studios and Aesir Interactive.

If you are into Sci-Fi RTS games dealing with ships and water you’ll be happy to know that the devs over Subsiege have you covered, providing tactical real-time strategy fun. The game is noted by the devs to be an intense fight for oxygen against other factions with a focus on massive 12 player battles.

Further information regarding Subsiege sits below.

“In 2063, the world we know has ended. The climatic disaster, overpopulation and extensive consumption have resulted in the depletion of all natural resources on the continents. Now, the last resources on earth lie 30.000ft below the ocean surface.”

Publisher Headup Games released a new trailer for the RTS game, which shows some gameplay intertwined with cut-scenes and other features that will be in Subsiege.

As you can tell by the name of the game and the video above, you are underwater fighting a variety of enemies. Something worth noting is that the environment can be just as deadly as fighting other factions in the game, containing insidious monsters and traps, which range from giant worms to merciless sea creatures.

Although the odds may be against you in the deadly environment of Subsiege there is a chance in surviving with the help of “Hero-like” members to assist you. Freely assemble your squad’s ability load-out and snipe enemies to stifle their strategy with an arsenal of weapons. Folks can also coordinate squad set-ups by defining team roles that can heavily benefit you in a variety of situations.

Separating itself from other RTS games, Subsiege will feature the depletion of oxygen so folks playing must react accordingly to the situation at hand, whether it be enemies surrounding you or fighting to stay alive by finding more oxygen.

Subsiege is set to come out on March 8th, 2017, and will be for PC via Steam Early Access. For more information on this title you can head on over to sub-siege.com, or its newly posted Steam page.
