CI Games recently opened up the beat registration for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, the upcoming open-world sniping game for home consoles and PC.

The open beta will be held specifically for PC. So how to register for a chance to partake in the beta? It’s all pretty simple:

1 – Head to the official Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 website
2 – Click on Get Started and enter your e-mail address and agree to the terms
3 – Click “Register Now” and check the beta FAQ for the rules

Blues picked up news from the press release where Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games, commented about the beta test, saying…

“We can’t wait for fans of the Sniper Ghost Warrior series to get an early taste of what’s to come when the game releases on April 4, 2017,” […] “Since this is a technical test, we encourage everyone to give us feedback of their experiences in the Steam forums. We hope they enjoy what they play!”

Those accepted into the open beta will gain access to two different missions: Cut Off and Blockout.

Cut Off is about infiltrating an antenna array in order to gain access to the enemy communication systems so that Jon, the protagonist, can make use of those communications against the enemy.

Blockout is about finding one of the people on the Most Wanted List, a certain Ivan Krustchev. Jon teams up with the local resistance group known as the Rotki Lions in order to take down Krustchev. Players – in both missions – will have the option of going in as a stealthy ghost to complete the objectives, a valiant warrior with guns-a-blazin’, or as a mixture of the two.

CI Games has focused heavily on selling Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 as a game with options, whether it’s customizing your weapons or how you approach each mission. Many gamers have compared it to a more grounded version of Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. The actual gameplay seems to be a mix of Far Cry meets Splinter Cell. There are a lot of opportunities to climb, sneak and maneuver around areas that’s usually off-limits in most games.

You can look for the open beta test to commence on February 3rd next month exclusively on PC. The full game will launch on April 4th, 2017 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

I loved the music in SGW 3. The game world is so much more immersive thanks to the music. I am sure that there are still some minor issues with the game but it’s nothing big

    • BiteTheBullet

That;s right! But I didn’t find any buton to play the music in a car after my character tourned it off. Was there any?

    • moreThanZero666

I was in Georgia once, and for sure this game makes my memories goes back again. Hope that will we hear more of folk music in this game.

Open beta is other name for demo vwersion. This can be some early version of the game, but packed into beta suit. Neverthless im going to play it.

    • Fatty

After I’ve played it I can tell you that it has been much more than just a demo. I’ve played the beta for around 5h and I liked it a lot! How did you like it?

      • Noizy Bird

I liked it much. First was some problems with launching but after reading steam forum and updating Dierct X i could play. It was a good test to us all. And leaving feedback was something natural. Which missios did you liked best?

        • Fatty

Glad to here that! I don’t know man which mission was better. I think I liked the second one more as it seamed a bit more demanding. Also I was impressed with how fast they provided the patch for the game during beta

  • Clamp

Good known mission will be playable. We will decide how we deal with enemies. This will be real stress test for this game and i hope to play it very long…well. till beta expire.

    • DannyB

I did play for around 4 hours and I was very happy to see that the game was so demanding. You really had to plan all your moves ahead. Did you get to play the beta?

      • Clamp

I played beta and i ahve to solve some puzzles. I tried different approaches and strategy that hleped me to infiltrate base or just eleiminate enemy.

        • BiteTheBullet

Tactics is very important during SGW3, I have no doubts about it. I hope it will be ready in April.

          • moreThanZero666

yeah, if you want to play warrior way it might be more difficult, you need to watch your steps, and think about next move.

        • DannyB

Yeah the game wasn’t your usual FPS: Go there, kill those guys and become a hero. SGW 3 is much harder and you have to plan everything ahead!
