Destiny: Xur Location And Items For Feb 17th, 2017

Derpy Xur is back this week and looking to give away some more sub-par stuff. As usual, he can be found in The Reef in his lazy hiding spot near the locked door for the February 17th, 2017 update. Bungie’s Destiny is out now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.

The stuff that derpy Xur is selling this week on his drunk run is worth skipping altogether. The only reason that a Guardian would want to stop by is to either check out the buff on the Auto Rifle – Hard Light, and to pick up some Three of Coins or Heavy Ammo Synths.

If you do, however, happen to find one of derpy Xur stuff to be worthwhile it’s likely that you are new or semi-new to the game. Looking over to the Exotic items that are up for this week consist of the Eternal Warrior helmet for Titans, the Lucky Raspberry armor for Hunters, and the Purifier Robes armor for Warlocks.

The Exotic weapon this week is something that you could try to use, but the option of better weapons still sit elsewhere and not solely in the Auto Rifle named Hard Light. So, if you are not a collector or if you are not curious about the buff it just received, I’d say skip the weapon

A video by Mesa Sean is up for you to look over if you want a visual guide on Xur’s inventory.

You can find all of the Exotic items and the buffed weapon in a bulleted list below that shows how many Strange Coins each item runs for:

  • (Titan Helmet) Eternal Warrior – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Hunter Armor) Lucky Raspberry – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Warlock Armor) Purifier Robes – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Auto Rifle) Hard Light – 23 Strange Coins
  • (Legacy Engram) Gauntlet – 29 Strange Coins

The TL;DR version of this is just to skip him altogether, unless you want Three of Coins, or Heavy Ammo Synths. If you are brave enough to use the Hard Light to see how it now fairs after the buff… then go for it, but otherwise derpy Xur is not worth visiting.

Destiny is currently out for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.
