Atlus Reveals More Information On Two New Shin Megami Tensei Games

Recently Atlus has released two pieces of information regarding Shin Megami Tensei. The first is a new game called Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey, while the second is a Shin Megami Tensei HD project. The former is set to come out for the 3DS, while the latter is set to hit the Switch.

Catching wind from publication site Gematsu, Atlus is gearing up to release two games in the realm of Shin Megami Tensei. The first title goes by the name of Deep Strange Journey, in which the game’s official description and story summary sits below:

“Environmental destruction and ethnic conflict… on a future earth where various problems cannot be solved, it suddenly appeared.

Schwarzwelt, the ruined land that appeared in the Antarctic, continued to expand while swallowing everything on the earth into nonexistence. This appears to be how the history of mankind will meet its end…

Hoping for humanity’s survival, a Strike Team is sent to this mysterious land. However, the things they witness… will reveal the terrible truth of Schwarzwelt.”

The game that will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS this Fall in Japan, was first teased back in January. The game is said to be an “easier to play, refined version of the 2009-released DS” game. Various things will be added, but you can see the new trailer for the game that Atlustube posted.

Looking over to Shin Megami Tensei HD project (which is what it’s referred to at the moment), Atlus revealed a screenshot showing the untitled project. The image comes in once again by publication site Gematsu, which the image can be seen below.
