Destiny: Xur Location And Items For April 21st, 2017

Looking for the exotic trader named Xur? Destiny’s Agent of the Nine can be found in this guide along with information on his inventory for the second to last week in April. Budgie’s Destiny is out now for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4.

Getting straight to the point, Xur can be found by going to the Tower and heading outside of where the Speaker is located. Go to an overlook with a guardrail outside of the Speaker’s place and you should see him in a corner.

The exotic armor he is selling consists of the Insurmountable Skullfort helmet for Titans, the Shinobu’s Vow gauntlets for Hunters, and the Nothing Manacles gauntlets for Warlocks. The armor this week isn’t all that great nor all that bad, so it’s suggested that if you do buy one look it over extensively before you buy whatever it is that is on your radar.

Next up is the weapon. The exotic gun that takes the spotlight this week is the Suros Regime auto rifle, which used to be pretty good back in the day, but the nerfs to said weapon class kinda makes the weapon a bit undervalued in PvE and PvP compared to other weapon choices.

Like always, Mesa Sean has a video guide showing all of Xur’s inventory. The seven minute long video starts around 0:43 and can be seen below.

A bulleted list showing the pricing of each exotic item sits below:

  • (Titan Helmet) An Insurmountable Skullfort – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Hunter Gauntlets) Shinobu’s Vow – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Warlock Gauntlets) Nothing Manacles – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Auto Rifle) Suros Regime – 23 Strange Coins
  • (Legacy Engram) Special Weapon – 31 Strange Coins

TL;DR: The armor is up in the air, if you are new and are looking for something that’s alright the three choices should be looked over extensively. As for Suro Regime you should skip it, unless you are in need of an auto rifle or you like to collect guns. The Zhalo Supercell bundle is not bad if you don’t own it, but it is quite expensive. Lastly, it’s best to stock up on Three of Coins and some Heavy Ammo Synths if you are new or semi-new.

Destiny is out now for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4. Rise of Iron, Destiny’s expansion, is only available for Xbox One and PS4.
