Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory Gains New Teaser Trailer

Bandai Namco and Media Vision have worked together this time around and plan to release Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory for PS4 and PS Vita in Japan sometime in 2017, and in early 2018 in the West. To celebrate this announcement the former, Bandai Namco, took to its YouTube channel to reveal the new Digimon game through a teaser trailer.

As of now, it seems that publisher Bandai Namco and developer Media Vision have captured quite a bit of gamers’ attention with the announcement of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory. And now that there is a trailer out showing in-game footage and cinematic scenes, it seems as if the talk around the game has grown even more.

I’m not sure if this game will move many units or sell like crazy, which is something that we will have to wait and see, but from the amount of comments and excitement over the game I wouldn’t be surprise if it is a sleeper hit on release.

Anyways, this information comes from Anime News Network, which the publication site shows the newly posted video that stands as a teaser trailer. You can check it out below thanks to Bamdai Namco Entertainment Europe channel.

If you don’t know, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory will be a “raising RPG” that takes place in both the real world and the digital world. The game is said to follow a story about the other side of the Cyber Sleuth, which is set during the same setting as the first game. Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory will feature over 320 trainable Digimon that can be raised in the game.

Lastly, the game will obviously feature a new protagonist. This new character who dives into the world of hackers — after he is labeled a criminal for an incident caused that he has no memory of — can be renamed from his vanilla name of Keisuke Amasawa, to whatever it is that you want.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory is set to hit PS4 and PS Vita in Japan sometime in 2017, and is planed to release in the West sometime early 2018.
