The second episode for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has gone live for Xbox, PlayStation and PC. The new episode picks up after Claire and Moira escape from the compound and Barry is told by Natalia that Moira is dead. It leaves a lot of questions open for the story arc given that episode 2 puts players firmly in control of Claire and Moira once more.
If you missed out on the first episode or need to learn about opening chests or other gameplay mechanics, it’s covered in the walkthrough for Resident Evil Revelations: Episode 1.
Anyway, the basic gist of the setup is that the Overseer injected them with the virus, which is affected by the bracelets they wear. Some of the other subjects escaped from the compound with the female duo and were pursued by zombies until they ended up at a shed.
Around the shed you’ll want to explore to get the most out of the area. Be sure to climb up on everything you can – there’s a few hidden gems that don’t look reachable but they are. Also, in the area outside of where the shed is, on the left hand side map at the far back, there’s a Tower Emblem. You can use Claire or Moira to smash or shoot it. It’s underneath the walkway buried behind some bushes.

You’ll find an MP4 SMG in the first house where you find Pedro with the drill. Once he knocks down the weak wall and you get inside you’ll find the SMG by the bed.
One of the big challenges of the second episode is finding the fuel early on for the helicopter.
You’ll find the fuel tank for the helicopter near the southwest side of the map; you’ll need Pedro to drill through a weak wall over in the corner near a cliffside. The fuel is inside the little house, way back in a corner.
After going through the throwback moment to Resident Evil 4 (which gets very intense), you’ll have to face a boss. During the house fight it might be wise to conserve your ammo as much as possible otherwise the Zombie Driller will make it very tough for you.
For the Driller boss… it’s on a timer when you can get away from him and the ladder is dropped by Neil. So just run out of the shack as soon as possible and stay away from him until Neil shows up.
For the closing door puzzle when you get inside the facility, you’ll want to move the box in front of the closing gate after running inside with Moira.
At the 1:28:00 mark the campaign switches back over to Barry and Natalia.
The second part of the campaign is a lot more straightforward and it’s easier to get through most of it since it retreads what Claire and Moira already passed. The only thing to note is that for the invisible monsters just use Natalia to spot them and Barry to shoot; you might have to switch back and forth a few times to kill them.
