It never ends. As often as Rockstar goes out of their way to patch and fix the glitches, cheats and exploits that gamers find, someone will spend all day (or maybe two) to find out some way to beat the system. In this case, a new duplication glitch was found that works between patch 1.24 and 1.26 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and the PS4. Luckily, PC gamers don’t have to deal with such cheap tricks and can just use the native trainer for their cheating and duplication needs.
So as explained, the cheat enables you to dupe cars and sell them. It doesn’t, however, bypass the 45 minute wait.
[Update: There’s a new video from RSH that also explains how to access the money cheat in patch 1.26 that you can view below]
The main thing is that you can dupe cars by setting up a deathmatch, putting it just outside the garage – ensure that all your other garages are full of cars. Walk into the deathmatch ring but exit and switch characters. On your second character, run back to the garage and it’ll ask you to replace a car in your garage, choose which car to replace and then you’ll have a dupe.
You can sell the car and make some cash. Rinse and repeat the method to continue to duplicate the cars and fill up your garage with something like the Panto to make a ton of extra cash. You can even alternate the dupe so you can sell the car on each character, giving you quite a bit of cash within a short period of time. You can put the cash in your bank account to share the money between the characters on your account.
So far, the followers of Sir Weed have exclaimed that the cheat works well and they’ve successfully been able to perform it on the Xbox One and PS4. However, many have also noted that it takes time to master the dupe. It’s all in the timing.
When a 45 minute bypass glitch becomes available for GTA V you’ll be able to use it as well. For now, the 45 minute wait is still in effect for this particular duplication glitch.
Rockstar has been quick to catch the GTA V dupes and snuff them out when possible because people are less likely to pay for Shark Cards or cash shop items if they’re cheating their way to success.
