Life Is Strange Episode 2 Gameplay Walkthrough

The second episode for Dontnod Entertainment’s Life is Strange series has gone live and gamers are already clamoring to find out what happens next in the teenage, time-manipulation drama. The latest episode delves further into Max’s ability to rewind time and alter the events of history.

A complete walkthrough for Life is Strange Episode 2: Out of Time was published without any commentary by YouTuber Alzu Gaming. You can check out the two-hour long video walkthrough below.

This game is so knee deep into awkward teenage drama and sci-fi that you couldn’t manufacture more of it even if you combined Swans Crossing, Dawson’s Creek, Degrassi High and My Secret Identity into a blender and slapped it on the CW in the middle of the week.

However, there are some serious topics that the game covers, such as one character potentially facing date rape, or how evil teenagers use those issues to slut-shame others. Opposite of clickbait journalists Max actually has the option to try to get to the bottom of the story.

Take note that the walkthrough above from Alzu Gaming has the soundtrack music disabled to avoid getting copyright bum-blasted, so some segments will be kind of quiet at times where the soundtrack was supposed to be playing.

One major takeaway from the walkthrough is the segment where Chloe will test your time manipulation abilities. It’s at the 50 minute mark in the video above. You’ll need to pay attention to everything. This means being able to rewind time and count how many cigarettes Chloe has on her (seven cigarettes to be exact), her panda keychain, 86 cents in her pocket, and a parking ticket where she was busted at 10:34am.

Life is Strange Episode 2: Out of Time is out now for the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. You can grab a digital copy from the respective stores or wait until the next three episodes launch to get the full thing. The third episode is due to launch this May. Need more info?
