XSeed Games has announced that the highly eroticized beat-’em-up from Tamsoft is set to arrive in North America for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita this Winter. The game has been part of recent shake-ups at Twitch.tv, causing the game series to get permanently banned but then shortly thereafter the decision was reversed after the community fought Twitch over the decision.
Siliconera is reporting that XSeed Games has announced that they’re the ones taking on the monumental task of bringing the buxom beauties from the far East to the politically contested West. Why is it a monumental task and what makes the game so controversial that Twitch dropped the banhammer on it like Obama dropping his Anger Translator on Republicans? Well, just check out ValwinMedia’s video below and you’ll get an idea of what some of the fuss is about.
And if that didn’t help much, here’s one of the other trailers from Senran Kagura Cooking Rhythm for the PlayStation Vita. By now you should have an idea as to what the series is like with its pants-breaking action and the ability to force male viewers to have to wait several minutes before standing up in public places.
Although, I do have to admit that it’s a little unfair to just keep throwing trailers out there since most gamers are probably only interested in the actual gameplay. So what sort of gameplay is present in this beat-’em-up? Fr0schi has a clip you can check out below from the PlayStation 4.
In combination with the “nudity glitch” that removed the panties of the female fighters that some gamers encountered from the PS4 import version of the game, as reported by PlayStation LifeStyle, it’s not hard to see why some streaming outlets and moral outragers would be morally outraged about the risque title… or maybe it is hard.
Anyway, the game will support up to 10 players online and up to four players in local play on the PS4. You can keep an eye on the porting progress of Senran Kagura: Estival Versus by heading on over to the official XSeed Games website.
