Modders are still trying to crack the code to add more characters and mod types to Bandai Namco’s One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. They’ve currently managed to modify some of the graphics and draw distance with temporary mods until they can really buff the visuals up to what they were meant to be. Additionally there are some texture conversion mods that allows characters to wear costumes from other games, such as Naruto Shippuden and Hwoarang from Tekken. And for good measure, another modder has made an ultimate mod for PS3 owners.
Steam user Luzi is collecting mods for One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 on PC, placing many of them in one big thread over on a Steam discussion thread. Some of those mods include really cool conversions, like the Naruto mod for Zoro, which you can download right here or see it in action on XemnaxPlayz YouTube channel below.
There’s also a Hwoarang mod that replaces one of Sanji’s outfits, which you can see in action below or you can download it right here.
I suppose it should be mentioned that before you can install these mods you will need the TexMod tool to import the textures into the PC version of One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. You can grab the TexMod, universal modding engine from over on the Google download page.
Over on the Chinese forums 3DM Game they have slightly more risque mods available for One Piece Pirate Warriors 3, tapping into the sexy side of the game. Unfortunately you will need to register or have an account with 3DM to download their mods. For instance there’s a Robin mod where she’s in a transparent sling bikini with a backless skirt, you can check that out right here. Grinding mill Chirp knows he’s got a real winner with that mod and 550 people have paid to get their hands on it.
Bump special egg has a mod for Nami with some tattoos and tights that many users fawned over like Pavlov’s salivating dog. You can check out an image below.
Angliuhuang also gave Boa Hancock a bit of a torn-dress makeover with a little extra sugar and spice.
Yuanye193 had a rather skanky mod for Nami that one user called “powerful” putting her in some street corner getup that might make the game more interesting for some gamers. You can check it out below.
Beyond the texture mods and sexy outfit mods for the female characters, other modders like DaTaHaCKs was more interested in gameplay modifications, completely turning the play mechanics on its head. His mods include the ability to play as characters like Monet, which you can check out below.
There’s also a mod that allows you to play as Oars and Asgard Moria. You can see Oars and Moria in action with the videos below.
Sadly PS4 owners are left out in the cold on this one. So you’ll have to wait until some proper modding tools come along for Sony’s latest console before you can get in on the fun.
