Koei Tecmo finally showcased more of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3’s… gameplay. We get to see a bit more of the mini-games and other activities that are usually left on the cutting room floor in favor of bikini shots, bum shots and beach balls getting a whole lot of loving.
Niche Gamer picked up the latest trailer from the official Koei Tecmo YouTube channel where the Japanese trailer spends five whole minutes basically covering many of the features from top to bottom. We see the standard mini-games we’ve known about months ago, as well as a bit more of the volleyball (which for some reason seems to be strangely absent from many of the videos) and we get a very, very hot and short glimpse at the very NSFW pole dancing. You can check it out below.
The pole dancing is only featured as a brief glimpse at the end. The naughty bits are covered by the game’s logos but the gist of the mode comes through well and clear.
What I was actually most surprised about was the casino mode. I was surprised that Koei but that much times into a detailed looking casino with fully playable casino mini-games. Players can engage in things like poker, a game of craps, as well as roulette.
If for nothing else, anyone who complains that Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is all fan-service and little else, just whip out your poker… skills. That will likely get them to change their mind.
Anyway, the majority of the trailer is just a recap of the previous trailers. You get a glimpse at all the girls, some of the bikinis that will be featured in the game as well as the locations and the Gravure mode to capitalize on their assets. There appears to be just enough content in there to entice gamers who need a little more than just fan-service to get hooked, and plenty of fan-service in there for people who need enough of it to justify shipping in a game from Japan just to make SJWs salty.
You can look for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 to go live on the PS Vita and PS4 starting March 24th.
