Street Fighter 5 Character Reveal Trailer Showcases Ibuki

Those who like the dangerous ninja, better known as Ibuki, will be able to play her in the newest version of Capcom’s 3D fighting game Street Fighter V. This was showcased in a character reveal trailer that details the ninja’s skills in a minute long video. Street Fighter V is out now for PC, and PS4.

The new trailer is also followed by her theme video done by OOPARTZ, which was posted up on PlayStation HK. But, we’ll get back to that in a second. First, Ibuki was rumored to arrive way back before the game even came out (during its Beta) by the one and only Maximilian Dood. As time went on, and October rolled around last year, a user data-mined the game and seen that character meshes for Ibuki, Dhalsim, Juri, Urien, Alex, Guile and Balrog were in the game as playable fighters.

The ninja and the rest, except for Dhalsim who was confirmed earlier as a default fighter, were later confirmed on December 5th, during the PlayStation Experience event. And now that May of 2016 is coming to an end, Capcom published a new character trailer revealing Ibuki in action, which comes in as no surprise seeing her at the end of R. Mika’s story.

If you want to catch the new reveal trailer showing her move-set, which consists of her V-skill Tenrai, her V-trigger Isshaku Horokudama, and her Critical art Kachofugetsu all in one place, you can view the minute long video below.

Those who don’t want to pay real cash to play her, as usual, folks will be able to earn and buy her just by playing the game and getting in-game currency. This will apply when she drops for Street Fighter V on PC and PS4.

Lastly, PlayStation HK posted up a video entitled “OOPARTZ ASIA EXCLUSIVE.” This video features a special song done by the Tokyo-based band OOPARTZ. They also did Guiles’ theme, but it seems as if not too many fans were pleased with the song, given the amount of dislikes on the video. But, if you want to check the song out and watch the trailer again, it’s available below.

Sadly, no release date has been given yet. But I’m sure another trailer or some info will come up soon detailing such, as of now we just have to wait. With that said, Street Fighter V is out now for PC and PS4.
