Fallout 4 fans looking for some new mods to play with on PC and Xbox One should look no further. Three new mods let players change their houses in settlements with more detail, select their location on start and use different Mauser rifles. Fallout 4 is out now for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
The first mod by StuykGaming adds some more parts to the building side of Fallout 4. Think of this mod like a Sims’ mod that allows construction and decoration, but all in first-person. For a better view of this mod you can watch StuykGaming‘s video showing the mod off, or you can get the mod by heading to Nexusmods.
If you hate the lengthy intro in Fallout 4 and seek to change it the second mod by Glacknarf has you covered. Changing the Vault 111 scene, the beginning offers folks the same opportunity of creating their character, except now the Alternate Start mod lets players choose their starting destination. Jimmy Gatz has a video below, while the mod is available to download over on Nexusmods.
The third and final mod is by Covadonga. This mod brings a list of Mauser rifles to the table, and allows full customization with each variant. This includes the Gewehr 98, the Kar98AZ and the Kar98k (or short) models. It’s worth noting that there are some problems with the rifles that I’m sure many WW1 and WW2 buffs will spot (finding some myself), but these problems shouldn’t affect the game too much.
You can watch the near seven minute long video by Mudcups, which he goes into great detail about the rifles and how their parts can interchange with older and newer models. If you want to get the mod it’s available over on Nexusmods.
