Pokemon Sun And Moon’s New Trailer Reveals Six New Pokemon

Game Freak and the Pokémon Company has some new pocket monsters to share with the community of Pokémon. Six new additions arrive courtesy of a new video showing them in action in the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon. This consists of Bewear, Brounsweet, Comfey, Mimikyu, Mudsdale and Wimpod. Pokémon Sun And Moon is due out for the Nintendo 3DS on November 18th.

Before jumping into what each of the six new Pokémon do and how they can dominate the field in their own manner, I think it’s best to show off the six in their actual reveal trailer. You can watch them all below, thanks to The Official Pokémon Channel.

The first Pokémon up is Bewear, shown in the image of screenshots below. Possessing the ability to halfen damage from attacks that make direct contact, it however doesn’t do well against Fire-type attacks; doubling the damage dealt. Bewear is a Normal/Fighting Pokémon.

Brounsweet seems self-explanatory, well that’s to me anyways. The Grass-type Pokémon utilizes aroma-based moves along with Grass related abilities. I expect that a lot of its moves will revolve around healing, buffing and de-buffing enemies, with a small amount of offensive moves.

The third Pokémon in this category fills in the Fairy-type, and goes by the name of Comfey. Wielding the new Triage Ability, Comfey is able to posses an ability that no other Pokémon has, which restores moves on the spot, opting to be the highest priority in battle.

Mimikyu is a Ghost/Fairy type Pokémon that holds the appearance of Pikachu due to its Disguise Ability. Using its powers to make an ordinary cloth look like Pikachu, its ability almost works like the Substitute move.

Mudsdale is the new Ground-type horse version of Ponyta or Rapidash. This Pokémon hones the new Stamina Ability that increases its defense by 1 on hit.

Lastly, Wimpod contains a new ability that no other Pokémon wields. This ability is called Wipe Out, and if Wimpod’s life drops below half in battle, it will run away or swap out for another Pokémon. Now that they are all explained, you can check out there newly posted screenshots.
