Weekly Famitsu’s Berserk Screenshots Show Off Characters, Decapitation And More

The Weekly Famitsu recently published a nice chuck of screenshots showing off Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s Musou type game Berserk. Being the third game with two iterations before this version, we get a little bit more information on what will be in the game. Berserk is set to come out in Japan on September 21st for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita, and will release worldwide with a PC version.

The Weekly Famitsu recently revealed some new screenshots of the shocking and brutal world of Berserk, which will receive its newest iteration for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita on September 21st, while the world release will drop the older PS3, along with a PC variant. This time we get a nice look at Casca, Guts, Judeau and Griffith. Speaking of the latter, he is pictured below in his Black Swordsman armor and part of the Band of The Hawk. He also sports two variants of the Reborn Hawk and Hawk.

You can check out the images that feature blood, both creature and human decapitation, and different characters in the world of Berserk.

As noted before, the game will follow the manga of the Golden Age arc, and is said to reflect the manga. How true the devs will mirror the game off of the manga is left up in the air until the game officially drops.

Looking over to the game’s mechanics, it is noted that the more you fight as one of the characters the more their attacks become powerful. I’m sure this will help players out when fighting enemies like the Apostles, who are said to provide intense battles that are extremely hard.

Lastly, folks will be able to master various weapons that span from Gut’s Dragonslayer to ranged weapons like wrist mounted crossbows, throwing daggers and many other types. In other words, you will be able to go berserk on the field with a nice arsenal.

Berserk will be available in Japan on September 21st for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita, and will release later worldwide on PC instead of the PS3.
