Dragon Quest VII: Fragments Of The Forgotten Past 3DS Trailer Shows Monster Haven

Nintendo 3DS and Dragon Quest fans have something new to drool over. The new trailer, Haven, for hidden monsters in the world of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past displays quite a bit of content for the upcoming JRPG. Dragon Quest VII is set to head west on September 16th.

Releasing a new video for the ongoing classic JRPG series, better known as Dragon Quest, Nintendo reflects on some of the latest features that will be in Fragment of the Forgotten in the new trailer.

There’s a bevy of things to do outside of the main story and side-quest, although one could say that the Haven for monsters stands as a side quest, it holds a lot more things for one to do even when it is completed.

I should explain that the Haven starts off completely empty, and based on actions throughout the game depends on who, or what will be in the Haven. This means if a secret monster that looks like a human is found they will go to the Haven bringing new buildings, game modes, and special content with them.

Instead of explaining the whole video to you, instead you can watch the near two minute long video showing Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past in action, thanks to Nintendo’s channel.

As of course, the 3DS remake sees players going back in time to the past to restore forgotten lands and battle an unknown evil. All while doing courageous acts to save the present, new characters will meet up with the main character, along with classic characters from the original game.

The game will also feature over 30 classes, which are also known as vocations. Each class offers something special whether it is outside of battle, or in the classic turn-based combat system.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past is set to come out for the Nintendo 3DS on September 16th.
