Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom Trailer Showcases New Characters

Publisher Focus Home Interactive and small indie development team Enigami are gearing up to release their RPG adventure game Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom for PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime near the end of this year. However, the devs offered up an early sneak peek of the game with a new Gamescom trailer.

Not quite sure what to think about Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom, but I guess it looks alright. Not much of a huge fan of the whole animal thing going on. In all honesty, it reminds me of some DeviantArt stuff, but aside from that the small Kickstarter game is shaping up nicely to be an indie project, though.

Keeping in mind that for Enigami (or Ynnis) to have such a small budget, it does look pretty impressive to be a small project with such a distinctive design, whether you like it or not.

Although a lot of people are saying that they are on the fence with Shiness. They  like how the game’s premise is building up but still leery about the overall quality. If you are not on the fence and seek its arrival, a new trailer awaits you below courtesy of Focus Home Interactive.

As seen above, the trailer introduces a few new characters. Adding on to that, we also get to see some more mystical environments sprinkled throughout the video.

This now brings us to the game’s initial story, which follows the journey of a young Waki named Chado. Leaving his home in search of a mythical “Land of Life” after a spirit named Terra told him to, he must venture through many challenging trials in order to get to this “special land” that is divided by the Kingdoms Adorya and Adorn — who are at war with each other.

I don’t know how true this is, but based on the game’s official description it notes that:

“Your decisions will determine the destiny of the planet and the outcome of the war.”

If the above is true that seems like it could add some fun replay value to the base game.

Those who are excited about Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom will be able to play it for PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime around the end of this year. For more information on this game you can head on over to shiness-game.com.
