WWE 2K17 Trailer Features Brock Lesnar Calling Out Bill Goldberg

One of the recent trailers that have gone up for the promotion of WWE 2K17 is one that features Brock Lesnar, the Beast, calling out Bill Goldberg. Paul Heyman is standing behind Lesnar, talking up how his client will conquer Goldberg. The clip is short and sweet, featuring Lesnar saying “Hey Bill [Goldberg], you’re next”.

According to Wrestling-Online the clip was posted up over on Brock Lesnar’s Facebook page, but it was later removed. Why? Probably because it gives away a possible angle at this year’s Summerslam. Nevertheless, YouTuber Ishan Don re-uploaded the video to YouTube, and you can check it out below before WWE pulls it down.

This isn’t the first time that WWE has teased a rematch between Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Back when Goldberg was announced as a special pre-order bonus for WWE 2K17, they also showed a sign saying “Welcome to Suplex City” that passed by in the reflection of the police cruiser that Goldberg was riding in.

There’s already running theories that bookers at WWE will have Goldberg interfere in the Orton vs Lesnar match. One YouTuber, BestInTheWorld, put together a small vignette in WWE 2K16 featuring the possible outcome of Lesnar vs Orton as well as what might happen with Goldberg at this year’s big Summerslam event. Check it out below.

There’s a lot of chatter about this Lesnar vs Orton match, and hopefully it lives up to the potential hype. But laziness from Lesnar could lessen the appeal.

One match that’s not expected to disappoint is the main event pair up between Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, where the two will square off for the first time at Summerslam in the WWE.

WWE 2K17

Who’s walking out of Summerslam as the WWE Universal Champion? Well, according to a new entrance trailer for 2K Games’ upcoming WWE 2K17, it’s the Demon, Finn Balor.

The WWE recently uploaded the entrance video for Finn Balor in his Demon getup, featuring his chainsaw massacre entrance. It’s the sort of thing that really gets the crowd revved up. You can check that out below.

You can look for WWE 2K17 to launch this October on the 11th for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. Expect the PC version to arrive sometime in 2017 during the spring, which has been 2K Games’ go-to strategy the past couple of years for the WWE 2K series.
