BlazBlue: Central Fiction Set To Launch In The West This November

2D fighting game fans looking for some arena action need to look no further, especially if you are into the BlazBlue series. Publisher Aksys Games and developer Arc System Works will bring forth BlazBlue: Central Fiction this November to the West, and will be available for PS3 and PS4.

The forthcoming game by publisher Aksys Games and developer Arc System Works sees fighting fans in a 2D arena, wielding special abilities and powers at hyper speeds. If you are into hand drawn 2D characters and smooth animations you will find all of that in Central Fiction.

But, that’s not all, Central Fiction will also feature a new story mode that dives deeper into the world of BlazBlue, along with new levels, modes, system mechanics and more.

The developers also announced that Central Fiction will contain a total of 33 playable characters. Honestly, that’s a lot of characters to play and learn, especially for hardcore fans seeking to get lost in the game.

Although I do not condone buying extra stuff like DLC and so on, if you are into Commander controllers the devs are also shipping the game bundled with the new controller. Noted on, the Commander controllers comes in at $129.99. Here’s an overview of the controller that the devs posted:

Officially Licensed by Sony and Arc System Works. The Fighting Commander is the ultimate controller for 2D Fighting Games and also works great on many other 2D software titles. This pad is a pure performer with the industry’s best D-Pad, six-button layout, large buttons, improved ergonomics, and high quality construction. Features include the R/L Toggle switch to allow all buttons to be accessed by the right hand, Turbo functions, and more! Switch the D-Pad to function as the D-Pad, the Left Analog Stick or the Right Analog Stick. 10-foot cable is long enough for most gaming environments, and the wired connection ensures quick and accurate response. Also compatible with PlayStation 3 and PC through XInput.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction will be for PS3 and PS4, and will release this November for the West. For more information on Central Fiction and other games you can head on over to
