BlazBlue: Central Fiction Trailer Shows Different Modes, Characters And More

Arc System Works just released a new trailer for their 2D fighting game BlazBlue: Central Fiction, and at the same time revealed some new content that will be in the Japanese version for both the pre-order edition and the base version. BlazBlue: Central Fiction is set to come out over in Japan on October 6th for PS3 and PS4.

That’s right, if you are into pre-ordering games and getting extra content for other stuff before anyone else, there’s some good news for you. Pre-orders for the PS4 version of BlazBlue: Central Fiction via the PlayStation Store in Japan will let you gain access to a downloadable demo, and download codes to gain access to Es (playable character), and color schemes.

If you are curious as to what the demo holds, modes like Arcade Mode, VS Mode and the helpful Training Mode are available. Becoming present from September 9th to September 11th, access to the Network Mode’s Online Lobby will also be evident allowing full lobby action to take place for three days.

If you do not choose to pre-order the game you will need to pay for Es to play her, which leads me to my gripe with this kind of practice. A demo shouldn’t be locked behind a pay wall or pre-order wall to get a taste of the game. In my opinion, pre-ordering the game should give players posters, booklets, special content and all that other good stuff, but not a demo. However that’s just me, though.

Anyways, the trailer reveals some of the game’s 34 playable fighters and its plethora of game modes. You can watch the near five minute long trailer thanks to Arc System Works‘ channel

BlazBlue: Central Fiction is set to drop for PS3 and PS4 on October 6th in Japan. As for a Western release, it is noted to debut sometime around holiday season or Q4 of this year.
