Deus Ex: Mankind Divided DLC System Rift Available For Consoles, PC

Eidos Montreal and Square Enix released the trailer for the new DLC, which features a character from the first Deus Ex: Human Revolution game, Frank Pritchard.

Players will explore an all new mission involving the targeting of a Palisade Blade data bank. Jensen agrees to help Pritchard in an effort to discover more about the illusive Illuminati members.

You can check out the two minute trailer below, which covers the gameplay and features for the newly released DLC.

The mission seems to center around infiltrating the data bank, which – quite naturally – is filled to the cyber-brim with security. Players will have to navigate through the halls, get through the security facilities and deal with a number of obstacles, ranging from armed guards to towering mechs.

The DLC seems kind of small but I could be wrong. In fact, YouTuber CohhCarnage is doing a playthrough of the new System Rift DLC, and it appears to be several hours long, at the very least. If you’re interested in a walkthrough of the new DLC, you can check it out below.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided didn’t have the easiest of times getting to the market, as it was waylaid in the marketing area by some Social Justice Warriors claiming that the developers were culturally appropriating #BlackLivesMatter.

There were other incidents where SJWs claimed they were being racists or not sensitive enough to current day social politics. Thankfully, Eidos didn’t get too wrapped up in the identity politics of today’s highly charged society, and tried to truck on and just get their game out there.

If you’re interested in the new System Rift DLC for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, you can pick it up right now for the Xbox One, PS4 or PC. The Deus Ex GO was also updated with the option to play as Pritchard between Sunday, September 25th and October 2nd.
