Mortal Kombat XL Arrives On PC October 4th Courtesy Of Qloc

One of the port houses that Bandai Namco uses to move over games from home consoles to PC have been working with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios to move over Mortal Kombat XL from home consoles to PC starting October 4th.

After High Voltage failed to deliver on the original Mortal Kombat X on PC, it appears as if Warner Bros., scrubbed off the studio from the list of reliable port houses and opted to go with Qloc instead. During that time PC gamers were left to believe that Warner Bros., was simply fed up with PC gamers but in reality they were still trying to find ways to fix their blunders.

So how are they fixing the blunders of Mortal Kombat X? Well, they’re ensuring that Mortal Kombat XL contains all of the improved and updated netcode and balance patches, something that they’ve been beta testing recently.

In addition to bringing the game up to par with patches and balance fixes, Mortal Kombat XL will also include the Apocalypse skin pack, the Brazil skin pack, the Kold War skin pack, the Kold War Scorpion, a playable Goro, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Triborg, Bo ‘Rai Cho and the Alien.

I know a lot of gamers were willing to write off Warner Bros., for good but they pulled it back tight and it looks like they’re going to deliver. Now if only they can do something about Batman: Arkham Knight?

This move from Warner Bros., actually spells good tidings for the potential future of Injustice 2, which seemed like it may have been doomed to suffer the same fate as Mortal Kombat XL, but now that the latest version of the gory fighter will be released on PC, maybe the super hero fighter based on the DC Universe will also make its way to PC?
