RollerGirls From Beyond, Wacky VR Game Rolls Out For HTC Vive, Oculus Rift
(Last Updated On: September 8, 2016)

If you’re a fan of crazy and out-there media like Liquid Sky or Eraser Head, then you’ll be right at home with the new indie game from Stonepunk Studios called RollerGirls From Beyond.

Players take on the roles of four sexy roller girls who are tasked with saving the cows on the planet Bovina. Sugar and the other three roller girls will face off against Dr. Creepy with his tentacle arms (I’m not making this up) and his alien army attempting to abduct the cows. Obviously, the Doc didn’t get his name from his tentacle arms but for trying to abduct cows, even though he has tentacle arms and based on extensive research, he could easily have himself a much better time in Japan.

Anyway, the game is designed for the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive and you won’t be able to play it without owning one of the VR headsets. Bummer, I know.

RollerGirls From Beyond is a side-scrolling 3D action game. It’s difficult to put into words exactly how you play, but maybe the launch trailer below will help you out.

That is one crazy looking game.

I don’t even know what to compare this to, honestly. It’s like some kind of bizarre mix of… I honestly don’t know.

Either way, each of the Roller Skating Space Angels have their own unique abilities and maneuvers to pull off, as well as combination skills that can be used to wipe out the evil aliens.

The Early Access reviews have been positive for this oddball title, but they also note that there is definitely a visual and audio overload to the game. So if you’re into sensory orgies then you might take a liking to RollerGirls From Beyond.

This trippy, colorful, vibrant head-rush is available right now for only $14.99 over on the Steam store.
