The Coalition’s first take on the decade old Gears of War franchise culminated in the release of Gears of War 4 for the Xbox One and Windows 10. The new game replaced the old Delta Squad members with a trio of kids while Marcus played babysitter to the millennial-inspired heroes. If you’re having a tough time completing the game due to the Swarm being more than you can handle, don’t sweat it… there’s a cheat for that.
The new trainer dropped just after the game became available on PC and features five usable cheats, including infinite health, infinite ammo, no reload, infinite gadgets, and no worries about the gun(s) overheating.
I’m assuming that the infinite gadget refers to the points for putting down equipment during the Horde 3.0 segments sprinkled throughout the campaign mode. Technically, that cheat alone would make a huge difference.
One of the more useful cheats that doesn’t completely depreciate the challenge of the game would be the no overheating cheat. Throughout Gears of War 4 there are a lot of weapons that rely on overheating, and it’s easy to find yourself at the mercy of the Swarm in a compromising position on multiple occasions. That’s not to mention that the no overheating cheat would play a pivotal role in helping out during the final act involving Baird’s mechs.
A few people also noted that the cheat for no weapon overheating doesn’t quite work for weapons you pick up. So some of the Swarm mini-guns you pick up along your journeys won’t be affected by the cheat, but the turret segments and Horde 3.0 mode should work accommodate the cheat without any problems.
