Estonian developer Creative Mobile announced that their racing game Nitro Nation Online has been updated recently to version 5.0. The core update includes all new cars to race with, an all new track to race on, and a brand new UI to make it easier to race those new cars on the new track.
The update was rolled out in a spiffy new video clocking in at just under two minutes, featuring a look at the new content made available in Nitro Nation Online. They focus on the all new lobby UI that is designed to help gamers easily navigate races, tournaments, game modes and profile features. You can also easily access the store for cash shop items, the garage to manage your cars, as well as the multiplayer to challenge rivals and frenemies alike. You can see it all for yourself with the trailer below.
Not only are there new cars, like the BMW M4 GTS, 2015 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupé, 2003 Renault Clio V6 Mk II, 2010 Renault Megane RS, and the 2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R, but there are new car mods for the vehicles as well, allowing you to trick out your ride with new body kits.
Update 5.0 also includes a new decal series for the livery editor. So what new decals can you expect to deck your cars out with? Cats… lots, and lots, and lots of cats.
The new track to race on includes a salt flat track for drag racing, inspired by the Bonneville Salt Flats.
New weekly leagues have been split into regional divisions, so players will compete in their national regions and then elevate to compete on an international level, and then eventually compete on a world level.
Live-streaming is a new feature that has also made the cut, enabling gamers to stream their racers to a live audience while they play. I don’t know if Nitro Nation Online commands a strong viewership on YouTube Gaming or Twitch.tv to really make the feature worthwhile, but I suppose it’s better that it’s there than not… right?
You can hop into the action right now, assuming you like racing games on mobile devices, by picking up a digital copy of Nitro Nation Online from participating digital distributors. Alternatively, you can learn more about the game by visiting the official website.
