Bandai Namco released a trailer for Tekken 7 showing the return of the “undisciplined Spaniard” Miguel Caballero Rojo as a playable character. Fighting with deep passion and anger, Rojo makes his second appearance in the main series of Tekken, in which the upcoming game will be available for PC, Xbox One and PS4 sometime early 2017.
Continuing his story of bloodlust and rage in Tekken 7, the latest trailer for the “undisciplined Spaniard”, Miguel Caballero Rojo, tackles the air raid on his sister’s wedding and the death of his family, and more. The latest video description welcomes Rojo back, and covers his current agenda:
“Welcome back, Miguel! The rebellious Spaniard has returned for Tekken 7 to continue his quest for revenge, looking for those responsible for his beloved sister’s death.”
For those who did not play Tekken 6, Bloodline Rebellion, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Tekken 3D: Prime Edition and Tekken Revolution probably don’t know why Rojo’s so mad. Basically, after attending his sister’s wedding from afar, the Mishima Zaibatsu was ordered to execute an air raid. After Rojo survived the raid to see that his parents and beloved sister had died, he set out to get revenge on the Zaibatsu’s leader, Jin Kazama.
Rojo already had a rebellious personality, but after the tragic event we see that his fighting style is all the more headstrong and brutish. Like many bully characters in fighting games (like Balrog in Street Fighter V, among others) Rojo is good for pummeling opponents, keeping them in corners and lashing out with surprise attacks that take whopping amounts of life.
The trailer below covers parts of his story and some of his moves. You can watch the minute and 30 second long video below, thanks to Bandai Namco‘s channel.
