World Of Final Fantasy Demo Will Go Live On October 17th

World of Final Fantasy will have a playable demo in the next five days as of this writing, which means that the JRPG will be playable ahead of its late October release. Square Enix’s World of Final Fantasy will be available for PS4 and PS Vita on October 25th for North America, October 27th in Japan, and on October 28th in Europe.

If you are like me and enjoy playing demos to get a nice taste of a game before skipping or buying a title, I bet you’ll be glad to find out that Square Enix will be releasing World of Final Fantasy’s playable demo this October.

The demo will release across the same locations noted above, which consist of North America, Japan and Europe. Unlike the release dates for said regions, the free demo will go live simultaneously on October 17th.

Like most new PlayStation demos, this one will be available via the PlayStation Store. The demo will let players fiddle around with heroes like Reynn and Lann in their Lilikin and Jiant forms, as well as encounter other heroes like Cloud, Squall and Lightning.

Players who participate in the demo will also be rewarded when the full version of World of Final Fantasy drops. In addition, by completing the demo, folks will get to battle and capture “Magitek Armor P” at the battle arena, or coliseum, in the full version of the game.

If that sounds like fun and you can’t wait to play the demo, Square Enix also released a brand new animated opening trailer to hold fans over, which shows off World of Final Fantasy. The video comes in thanks to YouTuber Asleep In The Fantasy.
