Dungeon Travelers 2-2 Slated To Launch On April 20th In Japan

According to the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation and the publications site Esuteru we learn that Dungeon Travelers 2-2: The Maiden Who Fell into Darkness and the Book of Beginnings will launch for PS Vita in Japan next year, which is slated for April 20th.

Dungeon Travelers 2-2 is the sequel to the first game and is entitled The Maiden Who Fell into Darkness and the Book of Beginnings. The new game just received some love from Famitsu and Esuteru detailing what folks can expect from the title when it drops next year.

The setting for the sequel is set in a world where the battle against the final boss in Dungeon Travelers 2 was lost. It follows a new adventure of characters that became trapped in darkness, led again by the main character Fried Einhard — who also fell into darkness. The heroes who entered or were fell into the darkness now behave differently and have opposite personalities.

Looking over to one of the new things that will be in the game thanks to the site Dengeki, a new character named Gina will make an appearance in Dungeon Travelers 2-2. The new character is a small magician living in the “House of Time” who, to find and capture Romulea, seeks out the libraries necessary for the monster seal and locates Fried.

As of now there hasn’t been any word on a Western version for Dungeon Travelers 2-2: The Maiden Who Fell into Darkness and the Book of Beginnings. And even though there is no word yet for a Western release for the game, Dungeon Travelers 2-2 will drop over in Japan with a price of 5,800 yen for PS Vita on April 20th, 2017.
