Huffington Post Requested To Be An Echo Signal For Clinton Campaign

The Wikileaks e-mail dump is like the gift that keeps on giving. Despite election day arriving with the most explosive amount of tension circulating the nation at the moment, additional revelations from Wikileaks have indicated that the Associated Press and Huffington Post worked very closely with the Clinton campaign, even so much as the AP providing the Clinton machine with early access to their articles so that they could get a heads-up on how the coverage would be displayed.

Regarding the e-mail investigation by the State Department, Clinton had help from the Associated Press in shaping the narrative for the campaign. Travel press secretary Nick Merrill wrote on June 25th, 2015 – in response to running damage control for the State Department investigation into the e-mails

“This has been deployed to the AP in advance of a setup story they are doing with State’s help. Mike Schmidt is now inquiring as well so I’ve made them aware that they have competition. At the moment the plan for Schmidt will simply be to deploy this with him as well, but I will stall briefly.”

So essentially, the Associated Press was doing a setup story based on the e-mail servers with the help of the State Department. However, to cudgel the impact of that story they were feeding the AP a response in advance of what they had been working on with the State Department to soften the blow.

The statement was about deflecting queries about 16 e-mails that were missing involving the Benghazi incident. Merrill’s job was to ensure that the message got out that Clinton turned over all the e-mail messages and pages that the State Department had requested.

The collusion between the Clinton campaign and the media such as the Huffington Post dates back much further than that.

An e-mail dated April 28th, 2008, from Susan McCue, a Huffington Post contributor and the political strategist and president of political action firm Message Global, wrote to John Podesta, the chairman of the Clinton campaign during their run for the White House against Barack Obama, saying…

“I spoke [with] Arianna [about] PMUSA Board and will send her more info. She is enthusiastic [about] the project but asks if she’s more useful to us not being on the Board and, instead, using Huffpo to echo our message without any perceived conflicts. She has a point. We’ll keep talking. She liked the Geffen idea. He’s on his boat and returns May 9. She’ll make the ask.”

Essentially, Huffington Post was willing to be an echo signal for the Clinton campaign upon request. Echoing out the “message” without any “perceived conflicts”.

This has carried out quite hardily throughout Clinton’s bid for the White House during this year’s elections. Various other Wikileaks e-mails have revealed that Huffington Post has regularly colluded with the Clinton campaign to shape the message for the general public. This also explains why they fired a journalist for publishing a piece questioning Hillary’s health.

However, others pointed to yet another video dating back to 1992 before Bill Clinton was put into office, where Larrry King lets Clinton know that Ted Turner is willing to “serve” him, which was caught on camera during commercial break while the mic was still hot.

For those of you who are unable to watch the video, King says to Clinton…

“It’s crazy – Ted Turner changed the world. He’s a big fan of yours.” […] “He would… ah… serve you… you know what I mean.”

Clinton responds quizzically by saying “You’re kidding.” King goes on to say…

“Oh you’d be surprised. He’s ready – what’s he got left in life to gain? I’d call him after you’re elected. Think about it.”

 

[…] “No dope. Great guy to work for, too.”

Sadly, a lot of the general public won’t be made aware about all the media collusion taking place because their worldview is mostly shaped by that very same media. This has been one of the biggest scandals during this year’s election, with the media actively fabricating stories or working hand-in-hand with burying corruption leads or covering for their candidate of choice.
