Total War: Warhammer To Gain Wood Elf Expansion On December 8th

Creative Assembly released a new Total War: Warhammer gameplay guide for the Wood Elf group that will be coming in a new expansion called Realm of the Wood Elves, which will be available on December 8th. Sega and Creative Assembly’s tactical strategy game is currently out now for PC.

Total War: Warhammer fans have some new content to look forward to in the month of December. The strategy game will receive a new expansion that will bring a new faction to the field along with other content to fiddle around with on release.

Both old and new players alike will be able to learn the basics regarding this new faction added to Total War: Warhammer through a new video guide, in which the Realm of the Wood Elves expansion opens up the region Athel Loren and brings the following:

  • New race specific currency – Amber
  • New wonder-based campaign victory conditions
  • Two new playable Legendary Lords: Orion and Durthu
  • New special skill trees to discover
  • Three new Hero types to play
  • New Campaign map “Season of Revelations’ for the Wood Elves story
  • More monsters, heroes and magic to explore.

According to the devs players will be able to trek three different positions: Protector of the Oak, Elder Speaker and in The Wood. One of the Legendary Lords, Orion, holds The King of The Wood more prominently, while the Protector of The Oak offers changes to Forest Spirit units making Treemen more accessible to recruit on your team — but only for the Lord at level 10 or higher.
