Boundless, Minecraft-like Adventure Game Gains New Trailer

Developers Wonderstruck currently has Boundless out right now in a pre-Alpha state over on Steam Early Access. The game holds a “Mixed” review on the platform, but the full version of the game for PS4 was recently teased ahead of its scheduled appearance for PlayStation Experience 2016.

The latest game that developers Wonderstruck will deliver to fans consist of Boundless. The game mixes elements of Minecraft, and uses bright colors like No Man’s Sky to create the aesthetics of what is known as Boundless.

Players will be able to explore an open-world or sandbox universe that contains features like hunting, exploration, city building, mining, forming guilds, trading and discovering rare Oort technology.

The video that is now up for folks to watch came with a description that details some of the above features that will be in the game, or full version of the game…

“Build a shop and trade your treasures, create amazing sandbox contraptions, hunt for Titans, sell your services, claim land, see the worlds, open a Portal and expand your reach across the universe. Create your citizen, define your role, make your mark, become Boundless.”

Additionally, the game will also feature cross-platform play across PlayStation 4 and PC. This means that everyone who owns a copy of Boundless will be able to play with each other when support goes live, which is pretty cool. The devs also noted that the universe in the game will be shared across both platforms and will allow players to interact with each other unlike another particular game.

As of now, I’m going to hold out on this title just because developers can make a lot of promises but it doesn’t mean that they can deliver when it’s time for execution. So in other words, it’s best to wait and see the finished product before buying or supporting the game.

If you are the type that seeks to support Boundless ahead of its release you can head on over to Steam Early Access to do so. The game is set to release for PS4 sometime during 2017.
