Check Out 20 Minutes Of NieR: Automata Gameplay

Fans who like NieR: Automata, Monster Hunter Frontier Z, and Phantasy Star Online 2 should be happy to know that all three games are collaborating to bring forth special content for fans to enjoy. In addition to this, Dengeki has posted up a new livestream video showing over 20 minutes of Platinum Games and Square Enix’s NieR: Automata.

The third-person hack-and-slash game mixed with adventure role-playing elements, better known as NieR: Automata, will release across both PS4 and PC early next year. Moreover, Automata has a new live stream for folks to look over that shows a first look at the game on PS4 Pro and much more.

Screenshots, gameplay footage and collaboration artwork can be seen in the live stream by Dengeki Online Channel by starting the video at the given time-stamps:

  • 8:05 – 11:34 (screenshot comparison)
  • 14:01 – 18:26 (gameplay)
  • 19:42 – 24:37
  • 25:31 – 26:39
  • 31:34 – 43:58
  • 46:28 – 48:53 (collaboration)

If you are a fan of Monster Hunter Frontier Z or the franchise in general there is good news for you. The devs behind both games will be working with each other to create custom content in a collaborative way, which includes weapons, armor and collaborative quests.

But that’s not all, Phantasy Star Online 2 will also work with the devs over at NieR: Automata to bring fans new content through PSO2 via updates. I’m not entirely sure how long and how much content between the games will surface through each title, but it is noted that more information will come out “soon” for the collaboration involving Monster Hunter Frontier Z, Phantasy Star Online 2, and NieR: Automata.

Being a fan of all three series, I’m really looking forward to seeing what stuff folks will be getting when the devs later detail the content going into the collaborative program across all three games. We’ll find out when the devs lay down the info when “soon” arrives.

NieR: Automata will debut for PS4 in Japan on February 23rd, in North America on March 7th, and in Europe on March 10th. The PC version of Automata is set to release sometime in 2017, and a demo will arrive ahead of both versions of the game worldwide on December 22nd.
