Fallout 4 Mods Add Immersive HUD And Remington Shotgun

Three new Fallout 4 mods are now up and available for download that changes the HUD, brings a new pump-action shotgun, and implements a new military base. Bethesda’s Fallout 4 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The first mod that’s up comes in by Gopher. This mod aims to provide immersive interaction visually when playing Fallout 4, which disables your HUD to clear up the screen, while at the same time keeping it useful so you have a clue as to what’s going on with your heads-up-display.

It takes the permanent and visible HUD elements such as compass and cross-hair and hides them when not needed and reveals them when needed, hence the motto the dev has up “HUD when you need. HIDE when you don’t.”

Gopher himself has a video showing how the mod works and what you need to know to get the mod active while in the wasteland.

You can get this mod by hitting up NexusMods.

If you’ve played Fallout 4 it’s likely that you know there are no pump-action shotguns in the game. Well, that all changes now thanks to Covadonga. The modder has taken the time to add the Remington 870 Magnum pump-action shotgun to the game.

A video by War Daddy shows everything that the mod has to offer.

The last mod on this list comes in by Greekrage. The mod adds a new military base on a far off remote island for storage and exploring, along with established equipment/items placed around the base.

The mod is basically a safe place for you to retreat to when the going gets tough, or if you want to explore a new location that seems fresh in the wasteland. With that said you can download the mod by heading over to NexusMods.

Fallout 4 is currently out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
