A new cheat trainer has been made available for Wayforward Games’ highly adored and thoroughly loved 2.5D platformer, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. The jumping genie heroine’s game recently came out for Wii U, PS4, Xbox One and PC, marking a huge milestone for the developers and their crowd-funded project.
Gamers who don’t mind peeking behind the curtain and getting a jump on bypassing the typical method of playing through the game to beat it, will likely enjoy knowing that they can hop into Shantae: Half-Genie Hero and use some cheats to get through the levels giving them a tough time.
In this case, there’s a cheat trainer made available over on the Mr. Antifun page that enables infinite health. You can download the 4.3MB trainer and use it to give Shantae and her transformable modes an unstoppable advantage when taking on opponents, obstacles and big bad bosses.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a creative platformer that takes the age-old formula and spruces it up with fast-paced, 60fps platforming gameplay, and lots of twitch-based reflex skills. The game recently went live this past week on December 20th and has already picked up a ton of positive reviews from the most important reviewers on the planet: gamers.
It’s a highly rated, highly regarded game that shows that sometimes Kickstarter projects can deliver what the developers promise. In this case, I think Wayforward went over and beyond to give gamers a brand that could live on if they treat it right and take it slow.
The game offers up various platforming antics, from skill-based timing challenges, to turning into various creatures and animals in order to access certain areas or progress through the levels. The game has some awesome visual aesthetics, using flash-style animations for the characters and layered 3D environments to help give the game a popping visual flair that looks remarkable in motion.
You can pick up a digital copy of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero right now for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Wii U and PlayStation Vita, or visit the official website for more info.
