Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season 3 Launches December 20th
(Last Updated On: December 2, 2016)

Telltale Games premiered the first full trailer of season 3 of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier during Geoff Keighley’s 2016 Game Awards show. The trailer offers an extended look at the new playable character, Javier.

The trailer is just under three minutes long and gives gamers a look at the early goings of Javier’s family and how things started for him and dealing with the walkers. You can check out the trailer below.

You’ve got to love how on the YouTube page they misclassify Telltale’s The Walking Dead as Batman: The Telltale Series.

Anyway, the trailer takes viewers back before walkers are widespread, where Javier and his family are dealing with a recent death. Of course, the deceased manages to come back and bite their mother in the face, leading to a scuffle and the obvious reality that she’s going to turn.

The trailer also gives us a brief look at season 2’s protagonist, Clementine. She’s still got the cap on, a shotgun and seems to be prepped for war… with zombies.

The digital release for season 3 of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will take place on December 20th for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and mobile devices. The game will also receive a physical release with the first episode and it will contain digital codes for the rest of the season’s episodes. According to Telltale, the third season of The Walking Dead is so big that they had to break up episode 1 into two parts, so that should be exciting.

Gamers have been clamoring and begging Telltale for the release date of the first episode, so now that gamers have it they can count down the days until it’s released for their platform of choice. You can learn more about Telltale’s The Walking Dead by visiting the official website.

I wonder how they will play this off considering how season 2 ended. There are a bunch of different endings and it would suck if those didn’t matter considering how drastically different they were.
