Fate/Extellea The Umbra Star Collector’s Editions Get Unboxing Videos

Marvelous Entertainment and XSeed Games posted up seven minute videos of unboxing the Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star – Moon Crux Edition and the Noble Phantasm Edition, both of which feature a PS4 copy of the game and plenty of other goodies.

The videos are live and available right now over on the Marvelous or XSeed Games YouTube channel. The social media manager for Marvelous, Scott, takes gamers through the step-by-step process of unboxing the special edition of Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star. You can check out the video below.

The video starts with a quick clip of the game before diving back into real life where the giant collector’s edition of the box rests upon a hardwood table.

The Moon Crux Edition has special art logos on the cover, while inside you’ll find a cloth poster with circular rings on the left and right side of the poster so you can easily hang it up. The cloth poster has dimensions of 24” by 17”.

The art book is a localized edition of the Japanese version of Fate/Extella, and the art book in English will have a hard cover that features all of the images located in the Japanese version. There is artwork and concept drawings for all 16 servants within Fate/Extella. The art book features 100 pages in a 7.5” by 6.3” book, and also contains backstory and lore information on the series.

Underneath the art book you’ll find the wrapped pack of the PS4 version of Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star.

Inside the game box there’s a disc inside. No booklet is located inside the actual game case.

The last piece of the package includes the character art cards. The backdrops of the cards are slightly transparent, so when you hold them up to the light you can partially see through the background and it further highlights the quality of the art of the characters.

In the XSeed Games video they showcase the unboxing of the Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star Noble Phantasm Edition, which doesn’t look quite as snazzy as the European version. It still features the cloth poster and collectible cards like the Moon Crux Edition.

You can look for Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star to launch on January 17th next week for the PS4 and PS Vita in North America. You can also grab a copy of the game in Europe starting January 20th. For more information be sure to visit the official Marvelous or XSeed Games website.
